At this time, several young police officers who were at the door came in with deliveries.
After the autopsy results came out, the defense line was removed.
A guy walked up to Henry with a package with his name on it.
“Mr. Xander, your delivery.”
Daniel looked over warily and saw my name written as the sender on the box.
He breathed a sigh of relief and patted Henry on the shoulder.
“Yvette is thoughtful. You haven’t been home for three days, right?”
Henry obviously also saw my name on the package.

Henry’s phone rang at this moment.

“What’s wrong, Xena? Is there something wrong?”
Henry rubbed his tired eyes and his face just blocked the name on the screen.

The package was returned to him. Thanks to Xena, this package with my name on it was not sent by me.

Daniel frowned and looked embarrassed.
But he still reached out and patted Henry’s shoulder.
“Go home and have a look. You really haven’t been home for a long time. Maybe Yvette just misses you.”
Henry’s brows were tightly knitted together and his lips were almost pressed into a straight line.
He smashed the pen he had just used to write the report on the table with force, making a loud noise.
“She’s a psycho now! I’m not going home, I’m investigating a case, it’s not like I’m cheating!”
His eyes widened, stared at Daniel and said, “Daniel, I treat you as my own brother. Tell me, have I cheated on her these past few days? Who is she threatening?”
Looking at his angry and ferocious face, I felt sad.
Daniel was still trying to comfort him. “It’s just a ceramic doll, it’s okay. I guess Yvette is a novice and didn’t do it well.”
The corners of my lips curled up into a bitter smile. By the time the ceramic doll was finished, I had already been a cold corpse.
Henry had a sinister smile on his face, full of sarcasm.
“How can I expect someone who didn’t even care about her own father’s life to love my child after she gets pregnant?
