“Is everything taken care of?” asked Matthew.
“Yes. Mr. Luther asked me to leave first. He’ll handle the rest.” Aurelia got into the car.

“How will you thank me?” Matthew flicked his cigarette as he looked into the distance with an unreadable look in his eyes.
A deep and seductive voice echoed from the phone, reminiscent of his tempting whispers in her ear at night when he asked her if she felt comfortable.
Each word made her heart race faster.
Even without Matthew by her side, Aurelia still blushed.
“Let’s grab a meal together,” she suggested, taking a deep breath to keep her voice as calm as possible.
Matthew pressed the cigarette into the ashtray and exhaled a final puff of smoke. “I’m going to eat you.”
“What?” Aurelia’s heart pounded as she wondered if she had misheard.
Upon hearing that, Matthew could almost visualize her surprised expression. For some reason, he no longer felt as irritated as before. “Think carefully about how you’ll thank me tonight.”
Aurelia heard him clearly this time. “Wasn’t last night…”
She abruptly stopped talking mid–sentence.
Recalling the scene from last night, when Matthew was with her in the bathtub, she could still feel a faint ache in her waist and back.
“Aren’t you scared of feeling fatigued?” Aurelia touched her burning face, trying to stop the endless images flashing in her mind.
Matthew replied, “It’s only for a few times.”
Aurelia was at a loss for words.
Aurelia didn’t go to work as she had taken another day off.
She went back first to see Phyllis and update her on the current situation.
Phyllis was extremely upset with the Leedon family’s actions. She thought that they were utterly immoral, selfish, and despicable.

When he saw Gwendolyn, who had abruptly entered the office, his expression remained unchanged. He asked coldly, “Who let you in?”
Feeling his cold indifference, Gwendolyn teared up in indignation. “Am I completely absent from your heart? I thought you’re with me because you like me. You should know the kind of girl I am. After all, my first time was with you.”
A cold glint flashed across Justin’s eyes. “Your first time?”
Gwendolyn bit her lower lip. “I was so eager because I like you.”
“Name your price,” said Justin, clearly lacking patience.
However, as Gwendolyn gradually approached, Justin felt his previously firm decision slowly wavering.

After she spoke, she dropped to her knees, her hands skillfully working to undo Justin’s belt in an attempt to please him.
“Trust me, Mr. Hoffman.”
Justin looked down. The look in his eyes became more complicated as he watched Gwendolyn.
The temperature in the office gradually increased.
A WhatsApp notification popped up on the phone that Justin had left on the table.
Justin noticed it from the corner of his eyes, but promptly dismissed it from his mind.
