Waking up in the morning, I found myself in an unfamiliar place and my head was pounding as 1 sat up.
“Oh, fuck!” I groaned, rubbing my temples. Why did I even think of drinking like that?
Looking around, I realised I was not on the floor but bed.
Bringing my hand to my chest, I stroked it as I tried to get up. I was in a T–shirt and pants.

Walking out the door, I realised I was in a different place than the cabin I stayed in. “Hey,” Mateo said, a smile curving up on his lips.
“Made you some coffee,” He said, handing me a cup of coffee, and smiling at myself. I took it.
“I hope you didn’t go through so much trouble because of me,” I said, walking to the counter while sipping from my coffee.
“No. I wanted to check on you.” he said as I nodded my head. I couldn’t remember what happened last night, but I’m sure he’s the one who brought me here.
