Lola was caught off guard, and her thoughts momentarily halted as she processed the implications. She turned her gaze toward Dominick,
Dominick simply smiled faintly, choosing not to say anything. He gave her a meaningful look, seemingly prompting her to consider the matter herself,
“Mr. Bates, what you’re saying isn’t quite accurate. If we’re talking about the most suitable partner for the Lewis Group’s current projects, it’s undoubtedly my company.”
The voice sounded familiar! Lola searched for the owner of the voice, finding a somewhat plump middle–aged man with an unremarkable appearance. However, he did seem pretty well–off though.

Arnold smiled somewhat sheepishly, “Ms. Lewis, what an excellent memory you have. I didn’t expect you to recognize me just from my voice.”

Dominick looked at her with interest. “But if I did, I wouldn’t get to see the angry look on your face when you’re mad at me.”
Lola was briefly stunned. How could he have such an unreasonable desire?
“Now that today’s matter is resolved, can I leave? It’s getting late,” Lola asked.

‘Here he goes again,‘ Lola thought. Just when she thought Dominick had changed for the better, he reverted to his old, frivolous self!
“So, Mr. Sinclair, do you have any further orders for me?” Lola inquired.
“Just now, your role was my business partner. Now, if you accompany me inside, you’ll be my date,” Dominick said.
