Lola smiled awkwardly, “Scot, I’m sorry, but I’m busy today.”

Lola shook her head. “No, Dominick has admitted the recording was genuine. Although he said he had no choice, I still find it hard to accept the truth

And this time, Dominick gave her a different feeling. 

She thought, ‘Is this how Dominick looks like in the workplace?! 

Lola thought about what Dominick had said to her in the conference room and felt a chill down her spine. 

“Since you’ve made up your mind, I support you. We won’t work with him! I never planned to work with someone like. Dominick!” 

Lola was still worried. “But…Dominick said that if I don’t work with him, our company will face a great crisis.” 

Suddenly, Ethan slammed his hand on the table. “Dominick saw through this?! That’s outrageous! He actually used this to threaten you!” 

Ethan’s reaction was affirming Dominick’s words. 

“So, what Dominick said is true? If I give up this collaboration, our company will go bankrupt?” 

Lola didn’t expect to face such a serious problem just after taking over the Lewis Group.

“Our other projects are all stagnant. If we collaborate with the Leroy Group, it would be a lifeline for us. The profits from this collaboration can help other projects to move forward.

Ethan’s words were radical and passionate. 

Although Ethan said it didn’t matter, Lola couldn’t let the company go bankrupt. 

She used to be clueless about work matters, but after so many days of hard work, she has learned a lot.

Lola’s reaction was different from what Ethan imagined, and he became a little anxious, but he held back.
