Having gone through so much, I wanted to travel and relax.
So, I went on vacation. Timothy couldn’t find me and bombarded me with messages. “Evie, where are you?”
I didn’t reply to him, and he gradually became agitated.
“Evie, are you deliberately avoiding me?
“Are you happy to see me so painful and looking for you all over the world?”
His messages annoyed me, so I simply blocked him.”
Then, he started sending me emails, fons of them.
[Evie, I’m sorry. I truly am. I really know what I did wrong.]
Evie, I have divorced Mia.]
[Please come back. We can get the marriage certificate as soon as you return. We’ll have our honeymoon wherever you want.]
[Evie, please talk to me.]
Timothy had always been proud during the years he was with me.
But now, he humbled himself to beg me back.
However, I no longer had feelings for him.
Later, his friend sent me a video.
In the video, Timothy was drunk. His eyes were blurred with tears, and he kept calling my name.
In just half a month, he seemed to have lost a lot of weight. His hair covered his eyes, making him look extremely haggard.
“Evie, where are you? Where are you?
“Evie, I will never contact Mia again. Can you come back and see me?”
Seeing him so miserable, I felt a sense of pleasure in my heart.
Those who betray others deserve to be punished hard.
In this world, the only person who will never let you down is yourself.
So, be kind to yourself.
I had a pleasant trip. I got over that dark period and made many friends.
On the day I returned to the city, Timothy somehow found out my flight information and came to pick me up at the airport with flowers.
There was a flash of surprise in his eyes when he saw me.
“Evie, I’m glad you’re back.
“I finally see you.
“I missed you so much. I never stopped missing during the days you were away. “It’s only now that I realize that I can’t live without you, not the other way around.”
