Chapter 11.1
Over time, we became somewhat familiar with each other.
He was always reserved, yet there was something oddly familiar about him.
But I suppose I was overthinking, given my not–so–famous livestream channel.
My peaceful life had its twists and turns.
One night, it rained heavily, and water flooded into the flower shop, submerging everything. I rushed barefoot through the water, salvaging what I could.
Thankfully, help arrived quickly, and together we cleaned up the mess.
And just like that, more than a year passed.
The flower shop business was good, and my livestream channel gained more followers.
It was the start of a new tourism season.
I stood at the flower shop’s entrance, watching the youthful smiles on the bustling cobblestone streets. People came and went, and amidst them, I caught sight of a tall figure.
He squinted slightly, leaning against the wall in a neatly unbuttoned shirt. It seemed that he had been standing there for a while.
I was stunned.
It was Lucas.
Before I could say anything, his gaze seemed to catch something amidst the crowd, and his eyes met
mine.
My heart skipped a beat.
He gave me a faint smile and walked over.
“Here on a trip?” I asked awkwardly.
He nodded. His once aloof demeanor now seemed calm and composed.
“The flower shop is nice.
“Of course.” I had my confidence in the flower shop.
“Don’t you want to buy something?” I joked.
He nodded, “Give me a bunch of white lisianthus?”
