Chapter 3
“That’s enough! Diana, stop it!”
Julian suddenly appeared at the door and rushed upstairs in just a few steps!
Then he grabbed my hand and pushed me to the ground.
“Diana, what are you doing again! You just hit Avery, and now you’re trying to kill. someone?!”
My heart was bleeding, and I struggled to breathe as I looked at Julian.
“Are you… are you really going to give our son’s room to a dog?”
Julian looked slightly surprised, glancing at Avery with a questioning look.
“Avery, what’s going on?”
Avery immediately leaned over and hugged Julian’s arm, acting coquettishly.
“Julian, you said I could pick any room for Joe, and this one has the best light, which is most conducive to Joe’s recovery…”
I noticed that Julian looked a little uncomfortable.
I thought he would immediately scold Avery, but instead, he gently stroked her face with a look of concern.
He looked at me expressionlessly again.
“So that’s what you are arguing about? There are plenty of rooms at home. Just give my son’s room to Joe.”
Well, just give our son’s room to a dog!
Look at how casually he said it, as if the dog was his real son!
I was so angry that I could hardly breathe. I stared at him with a pale face.
There was an awkward silence in the air, and Julian seemed to remember something. He immediately handed me a large Ultraman toy.
“Here, I just bought it for my son on the way back. He will definitely like it.”
I struggled to stand up straight and took the Ultraman, slamming it hard on his head.
“You don’t deserve to give him gifts, let alone be his father. Get out with and your dog!”
Perhaps because he felt somewhat guilty, Julian suppressed his anger.
He tilted his head to look into the messy room.
“My son is not in the room? Where is he now?”
